Hello there!
My name is Siqi. I was born and raised in China, and I moved to Canada in 2018. I’m currently based in Vancouver.
I graduated from the Illustration program at Emily Carr University in 2021 and later earned a certificate in Graphic Design from BCIT. With a clear and evolving visual language, I find joy in creating black and white illustrations inspired by Japanese woodblock prints and Art Nouveau. My work reflects a unique artistic voice and a well-established freelance career.
I thrive in pedagogical environments—teaching allows me to form new understandings and stay inspired through the exchange of ideas.
At the moment, I work out of my lovely studio, "Trinketpond".
